Works undertaken

The upgrade between Grays and Franklin Roads transformed the existing two-lane highway into a multi-lane, median-separated, concrete-paved roadway, significantly improving safety and traffic flow. The project also incorporated new infrastructure to better serve both local communities and heavy vehicle traffic.

Twin bridges over Halfway Creek and Wells Crossing Creek.

  • Upgraded intersections with local roads for safer and improved access.

  • New Heavy Vehicle Inspection Station to manage heavy traffic efficiently.

  • Enhanced local community access and safety at intersections.

  • Staged planning to manage live traffic during construction, ensuring minimal disruption.
