Eden Safe Harbour
Project Overview
Client: Transport for New South Wales
Length: 366 m
Duration: November 2021 to August 2023
Value: $19 million
Works undertaken
The Port of Eden is a key working port on the far south coast of New South Wales, supporting various recreational, commercial, and port vessel activities. However, the port is sometimes exposed to severe wind and wave conditions, posing risks to maritime safety and increasing the potential for damage to vessels moored in Snug Cove or docked at the Mooring Jetty and Multi-Purpose Jetty.
The Eden Safe Harbour Project was initiated to address these challenges. Its primary goal was to create a safer environment for both local and visiting vessels, while also enhancing the protection of existing maritime infrastructure in Snug Cove.
The Ausling team comprised of the Project Manager, Project Engineer and Surveillance Officer working on site representing TfNSW.
